Brazucas

Student clubs - international culture

Brazucas welcomes Brazilian students to the School and organizes various events to share our culture with all other nationalities. So if you want to help create an increasingly international atmosphere in Centrale, you're welcome, wherever you're from!

Activities

Les Brazucas is the association dedicated to promoting and preserving Brazilian culture within Centrale Nantes.

The group's main objective is to ensure that Brazil’s identity has a continuous space for representation at the university. With this in mind, our primary mission is to organize events that promote Brazilian culture, music, cuisine, and art, such as Carnival, Festa Junina, and the Welcome Barbecue for new students. We believe that maintaining this cultural expression is essential for welcoming new students in Double Degree, Bachelor, and Master programs.
We strive to make the expatriation process as smooth as possible by supporting incoming Brazilian students from the very beginning. This includes picking them up at the airport, providing them with basic kitchen utensils for their first days, and setting up a mentoring system. In addition to helping Brazilians preserve their cultural roots, Brazucas also acts as a facilitator in discovering French culture.
We encourage constant exchange, helping students adapt to their new life in Nantes and to the academic environment of the school, thereby combining mutual support with multicultural integration.
